OMILA runs this website and the OMILA apps. This page explains what we keep about you, why, and how to have it deleted. We handle personal data in line with Oman’s Personal Data Protection Law.
Who we are

What we collect
- Your account: your name, phone number, password (kept only as a secure hash) and preferred language.
- Your bookings: the service, day and time, any note you add, offers applied, and each step of the booking.
- Our team: name, phone number, the services each person does, working hours, time off, their work and what they are paid.
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos or card details, and there is no advertising or tracking in our apps or website.
Why we use it
- To take, confirm and manage your bookings.
- To contact you about a booking by phone or WhatsApp.
- To send the reminders you turn on.
- To keep the salon’s records and accounts.
Reminders and notifications
Appointment reminders are scheduled on your own phone, only if you allow notifications. A paired watch may show them too. You can turn them off in the app or in your phone’s settings at any time.
Where it is kept and who can see it
Your data is stored with our hosting provider (Supabase) and sent over encrypted connections. Customers see only their own bookings, team members only the bookings given to them, and the owner what she needs to run the salon.
Sharing
We never sell your data or share it for marketing. Only the providers who host the service process it for us, or an authority if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account while you have it. When you delete it, your name, phone number and notes are erased and upcoming bookings are cancelled. The salon keeps a record of past visits and payments without your details, because its accounts require it.
Your choices
- Delete your account in the app (Account → Delete account) or on the website.
- Ask us to see or correct your details, or to delete them, using the contact details above.
Children
Bookings are made by adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
